When we have a great hair day we tend to tackle the day with positive energy. And well, let’s not discuss when we are having a bad hair day! Our philosophy has everything to do with leaving the salon feeling like a newer, happier, more refreshed version of you. With a safe space to let go all of your outside worries and to have open, judgement free conversation, we want you to feel relaxed, heard, and fully taken care of.

Meet
the owner
Growing up in Stamford, Connecticut Jaclyn had many interests including photography, graphic design, and modern dance. She knew a typical college wouldn’t be enough to feed her creativity, so alas, Jaclyn graduated the Aveda Institute of south Florida in May 2010 with a license in cosmetology. She worked at Aveda salons in major cities such as Miami, Boston, Brooklyn and Manhattan. Five years later, she broke away from the Aveda brand to work for Fox and Jane Salon in Manhattan for the next six years. Her dream has always been to own her own business, helping people leave the salon feeling their absolute best. As well as being a self employed creative artist, she pursued a deeper understanding of people through obtaining a degree in psychology (2020) as well as a certification in Psychosynthesis Life Coaching. Through this soul centered approach, Soul-ette Salon is a new innovative way of integrating honest human connection with beauty.

Ronan
Born in Brazil, but growing up in creative NYC, Ronan was always drawn to hair and all things creative. Even as a little boy, his love for styling his friends hair was often captured on camera. He loves fashion, enjoys dancing, is always laughing and has the biggest heart. Ronan too worked at Fox and Jane, where he met Jaclyn, and joined the Painted team in early 2022. Although he’s been in the industry for 12 years, Ronan is constantly keeping up with the latest products and trends. His aesthetic is natural and relaxed but also just as fabulous! Ronan’s dedication to his craft shows through his exceptional customer service experience and nailing expectations.
